On the occasion of the Grand Opera Gala which will be held in the churchyard of the Cathedral of the Madonna della Serra in Montalto Uffugo on 19 September at 8.00 pm,the City of Montalto will award the Lifetime Achievement Award to the Calabrian pianist Ingrid Carbone “for her extraordinary artistic career which has brought prestige to the whole of Calabria”.
During the evening Ingrid Carbone will thank the city by performing a song from her latest CD, awarded the silver medal at the Global Music Awards 2021, and world-class artists will perform, who will interpret the most famous areas of the opera scene lyrical, as is the will of the mayor Pietro Caracciolo and the tourism councilor Gianfranco Bria. The opera event in Montalto is now a fixed and highly relevant event.
