Other goals, other satisfactions, other prestigious awards for Ingrid Carbone. The young, beautiful and talented Calabrian pianist was awarded two silver medals at the Global Music Awards for the live recording in Amman of Granadinas from Ruggiero Leoncavallo’s Spanish Album in the Instrumentalist and Live Performance categories.

“Music Beyond Borders” – says the pianist – is the title I chose for this recording, which is very dear to me. This video was recorded in Amman (Jordan), during a conversation-concert that I held on September 14th in the magnificent Al-Hussein Cultural Center. In the previous two days I had held masterclasses at the National Conservatory of Music.

I love to travel, I love the Middle East and I feel at home there and wherever I go.
The theater was full of people from different countries, different religions, different feelings, different origins, different cultures, different traditions: invited by the Italian Embassy in Amman, I played the beautiful Granadinas, the fourth and final composition of the Spanish Album.
