From November 6th to 11th, the Science Festival returns to Cagliari: for the eighteenth consecutive year, it will be held at the Exma Municipal Center. In fact, if you include the Science Days, this year’s edition is the 25th.
For six days, there will be twenty book presentations dedicated to different disciplines—from physics to artificial intelligence, from biology to medicine, from neuroscience to chemistry—six lectures with professors and researchers, two of which will be in Sardinian, a concert-conversation on music and mathematics with pianist and professor Ingrid Carbone of the University of Calabria, a round table discussion, exhibitions, exhibits, and thematic tours.
Each day of the festival will be dedicated to a scientist, chosen this year among the protagonists of quantum mechanics, marking the centenary of the discipline. Their biographies will be presented by a student at the start of the day’s proceedings.
