A guest on the program Detto tra noi, hosted by Alessia Mastrandrea on Radio Taormina, Ingrid Carbone, concert pianist, mathematician, and communicator, described a unique journey that unites two seemingly distant worlds: music and science. The artist recently performed in Prague, at the Baroque Chapel of the Italian Cultural Institute, at the event “Conversation-Concert between Mathematics and Music,” part of the celebrations for International Mathematics Day. The sold-out event confirms the success of a format conceived by Carbone herself and already presented in Europe, China, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The meeting offered listeners important food for thought: in a world that often forces us to choose between logic and passion, Ingrid Carbone’s story demonstrates that it’s possible to combine the two, because, between us, sometimes the most beautiful paths are precisely those that manage to hold different worlds together.
