Ingrid Carbone gains over 10.000 views on Facebook with her “Diálogos entre Matemáticas y Cultura“.
During this conversation-concert she performed some significant pieces from her current repertoire, preparing the audience to listen through a synthesis of her entire dual professional path to highlight how the strength of Mathematics serves as a guide and reference. She tried to persuade the audience that only with deep, thoughtful, attentive knowledge of the music can a free and conscious interpretation be achieved. Respectful of the scores, her research and her mathematical mind allow her to be herself, like the composer she plays.
The event, broadcast live last Tuesday, was organized by the Instituto de Matemáticas of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and was an immense satisfaction.
Ingrid Carbone presented and described the Spanish Suite by Ruggiero Leoncavallo (which is included in her fourth album) and Die junge Nonne by Schubert-Liszt. Two performances were shown, including a previously unreleased video recorded on March 12, 2025, in Rome.
