Here’s a translated excerpt.

On Sunday, September 20, pianist, mathematician, and music and culture communicator Ingrid Carbone will headline a “conversation-concert” titled “Between the Sacred and the Profane” at the neoclassical veranda of Villa Pignatelli in Naples. Organized by the historic Neapolitan music association “Maggio della Musica,” the event marks the opening of the new season of the “Autunno in Villa” (Autumn at the Villa) series.

For the occasion, Ingrid Carbone will present a musical and narrative journey conceived as a tribute to Naples—a sonic itinerary ranging from Domenico Scarlatti to Ruggiero Leoncavallo and the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, explored through a reinterpretation of the composition Franz Liszt dedicated to the saint.
